Brayden's First Present

Today Brayden opened his first Christmas present. The only problem was it wasn't Christmas and it wasn't his present! I guess I have to put the rest someplace he can't reach them!

Brayden loves anything to do with writing lately, so we have tried out crayons. No masterpieces yet, but we'll keep you posted!

Life is back to normal finally after many Brayden ailments. We had a cold followed by a new tooth crisis, then a major diaper rash and this past week was a very high fever which we discovered to be adinal (?) virus. Anyway... we haven't been taking very many pictures, but we did have pictures with his cousins and his one year pictures taken. We are going to see them all on Saturday, but our photographer did send us one sample. It was alot of work to try to get all three kids happy together!

I LOVE this picture!

Brayden's new bike... it is a three in one. There is a parent handle that attaches to the back and then it folds under to create a "rocking bike". He loves it! I will have to post a video of him rocking. (This pictures doesn't show all the parts yet as daddy was still working to put things together.)

Brayden loves to play with this car at Hannah's (his babysitter). He knew the door was supposed to stay on and was getting so mad that it wasn't working!

Happy Birthday!

Brayden is 1 today! How fast a year can go! We have been so blest this year with our little boy. He brings so much joy to our lives. Despite the many, many, many months without much sleep, it has been the best, most fulfilling year of our lives. Here are a couple pictures of our little boy.

Last night we went to visit Grandma and Grandpa at Trunk or Treat and Mimi, Papa, Jess, Carrie, Jonah and Lauren at their Pumpkin Party. We will have to get pictures still of the Pumpkin Party.

Brayden was quite curious about what all these people were doing looking so funny!

Truck Noises

Listen real carefully and you can hear Brayden making his truck noises. You can ignore mommy's truck noises in the beginning... although they are pretty realistic if I must say so myself. I had the wrong video listed before, so if you already tried to listen, you may want to do it again.

Updates

Our biggest update... Brayden is walking! Everyday he gets better!

First bandaid on the knee... obviously it didn't phase him too much! Brayden is eating more solid foods lately...

Uncle Jonathan- Brayden now loves to play with the Legos you got him last Christmas! Now instead of you making Josh mad when you knock over his towers... Brayden is now knocking them over. Makes Daddy so mad! As I write this, Josh is holding his tower in the air so Brayden can't knock it over until he is finished building! His other favorite toy... electrical cords
Brayden climbed in here all by himself... and out of the bathtub the other day!

Brayden is sleeping a little better... we now hear him playing as he falls asleep. A lot better than crying! The secret is out... the real reason we had Brayden... cleaning crew! Our happy little boy who we love so much! How couldn't you?!
